Mint is a platform that allows Web2 businesses to onboard their organization and their customers into Web3. The challenge was to design an enterprise platform that scales for organizations and their growing community while providing seamless entry into a space that’s mostly new for them and their audience.
A Sybil Attack involves the creation of multiple fake identities to maliciously influence and gain advantage over a network. We designed Honeypot.money to incentivize the creation and authentication of digital identities to counter sybil attacks which can harm the blockchain ecosystem.
At Mojito, I designed the white-label checkout plug-in we refer to as the “Payments Mixer” which our clients can easily integrate into their own platforms. Designing a checkout flow that caters to both Web3 “noobs” and “natives” provides some interesting opportunities — how much could we tap into tried and tested Web2 patterns and what can be improved for Web3?
Quadratic Trust is an experimental social network powered by quadratic voting to help build social capital. The number of votes a person receives is based on the quadratic formula where the cost of each consecutive vote from the same person increases quadratically, potentially giving more value to users who get a higher number of unique votes.
I prototyped how Youtube with Mojito can integrate Web3 collectibles into their platform and provide their creators new ways to engage and earn with their community.
Businesses can benefit from on-chain data to provide a better rewards program for their clients. I prototyped how Mojito's core offerings can integrate into AMEX's existing membership and rewards platform, showcasing how POAPs (Proof of Attendance Protocol) and Collectibles can help with offering immutable, unlockable opportunities tied to live, tangible experiences.
Gitcoin's Head of Design, Alisa March, needed help with creating rapid high fidelity prototypes to use for testing with users. I shared a quick hack to create a prototype using transparent boxes on screens saved as images and show the team how different prototype interactions are possible with this method.
Gitcoin.co continued to grow at an incredibly fast pace since inception and the current architecture of the site needed an assessment. I created an interactive sitemap for stakeholders to easily navigate the growing complexity of the product and its offerings to help determine which areas can be improved.
A collection of Visual Design work for the early version of status.im, a mobile Ethereum OS that gives its users the power to chat, and access a world of decentralized apps on the decentralized web.
I was the sole Designer for the first two issues (November & December 2018) of The Blockchain Brief — from ideation to production, I was given free reign to design the layout and graphics for the publication.
I worked with the VigLink team in San Francisco to design screens for their analytics product OutClicks.net. The project involved visualizing different kinds of crawler data, allowing users to easily spot monetization opportunities for their sites.
Dialpad's Head of Design, Omar Lee, assigned a fun task for me to prototype an "Active Call" feature we were testing for Dialpad's native app. I created the high fidelity prototype in HTML, CSS, and jQuery to simulate how this complex interaction is experienced by users.
I was a Visual Design Intern at Dialpad.com from 2015 - 2016. What initially was a summer internship turned into a year-long opportunity working with the design team to create assets for their rebrand from Switch Communications along with refactoring their UI assets from Adobe Illustrator to Sketch. I also coded high fidelity prototypes for their product features in HTML, CSS, jQuery.
The Flood Preparedness Kit is meant to be placed in public schools as well as other designated evacuation centers in the Philippines. It acts not only as an educational material, but also as a supplemental emergency kit whenever the need arises. It displays information made from strips of ductape on polytarp.
